Why Watch TV on the Web?

The reason "why anyone in his right mind would want to watch television through a tiny window on a low-resolution computer screen..." as Carla Passino mentioned is simple. As an expat now living in Germany, I would love to be able to view my old favorite series even if on a tiny screen such as my computer.
I was quite sad the day Recordtv.com went dark because of the fear of litigation.
