Evolution of TV Viewing Paper

This is the only presentation I have had a chance to read but I found it to be informative:

Evolution of TV Viewing
by John Carey, Adjunct Professor
Columbia University Graduate School of Business

(MS-Word document)
http://www.tvmeetstheweb.com/may2002/presentations/carey.doc

Professor Carey gives an easy to read overview of how new TV products and services have been behaviorially adopted and used over the decades, primarily in the US.

I also learned that I am not the only person that likes to surf the web while watching TV (sometimes on the same subject - sometimes not).
