Some Hope in the Fight Against Spam

Spammers have multiple e-mail addresses

The tool seems a good idea, but one thing to remember is that spammers, as I have discovered to my dismay, send bulk mail from multiple addresses. So, if the tool blocks one "From" address, the same message may come another address. A lot of times, the addresses will have alphanumeric characters, with only the numeric characters changing. So, any blocking rule would have to outsmart the spammer by using multiple criteria to filter out the message. For instance, one could use Subject line words or phrases as an additional criterion.

Downloaded and tried this about two months back. Still using it; the p2p aspect I find interesting and hopeful, as Rich does.

A caveat though: You will lose messages you might actually want. Dilbert, for example, got blocked until I unblocked it. Gladly, Cloudmark on installation creates a Spam folder in Outlook, so you can rescue messages and unblock them going forward.
