Publishers Ruining E-books' Prospects

This is a distressing report, if only because it's conclusions are so negative. Publishers must certainly be frustrated, too. But who'd expect anything different with a sole-purpose device (another one in the bag?) trying to replace centuries'-old experience.

But let's not kill the goose.

I am tremendously enthused about the prospects for ebooks in .pdf form. I think it's only months before .pdf makes the leap from business to consumer appplcations. I have a whole bookshelf of ideas I'd love to do.
