I like "Fat" Pages

Gee, I rather like the "bloated" home page of WashingtonPost.com. Its sems rather simple to me - anything I want to find is right there on the first page, and I don't have to dig through 3 different screens to find it. That is precisely why it is one of the few newpaper web sites I go to regularly. (I guess you think Arts and Letters Daily is a pretty horribly designed site too. . .) If I want to see what online chats are up today - there they are! Breaking news - there it is! Travel info, eneteratinment info, classifieds are all right there, easy to find. I really don't understand what makes it better to have everything hidden somewhere deep within a website. I say keep it cluttered, but organized, and make life easier for someone who wants to find things by just looking at one page, not 4.
