Broadband connections follow the same rules as most other things in life: Mediocrity may be frustrating, but inconsistency is unacceptable. While a car that’s dependable but only a fair performer is acceptable, a hot rod that spends most of its time in the shop is not. No one that I’ve known that had a broadband connection has had trouble free service. This has been especially true with cable providers, but has also happened with DSL providers. I'm waiting until service becomes more dependable and more reasonable. I'm not paying high prices for a hot rod that will spend a lot of time in the shop. I'll stick with my dependable economy car until things change.
