Title: It's the ticket-holders who should be upset
Posted By: Jim Romenesko

From STEVE DUKE: The Dramatists Guild is upset that Sun-Times critic Hedy Weiss reviewed their "works in progress"? I would think the only folks who have a right to be upset are those who paid $85 a ticket. If it's ready for prime-time ticket pricing, then it's ready for a prime-time critic. Full disclosure: I was Hedy's editor for a few years in a previous life, but my argument would be the same without the prior association. The only "shocking and irresponsible betrayal" here is the one pulled on the theater-goers by the theater. [Permalink]
