AFJ Names Winners in Awards Competition 2007

MINNEAPOLIS—The Association of Food Journalists (AFJ) announces 42 winners in its Awards Competition 2007. They received their awards at a reception and banquet held on Aug. 25, 2007, in conjunction with AFJ’s annual conference here.

The awards recognize excellence in reporting and writing in all media, newspaper food section design and content, food illustration and food photography. A total of $8,400 was awarded in 14 categories. There were 398 entries in the competition. Cash awards are $300 for first place; $200 for second place; and $100 for third-place. All winners receive certificates.
