How news organizations are using Dipity time lines

The Chicago Sun-Times, Seattle Times and other papers are creating interactive time lines to add context to stories, show the breadth of their reporting, and help people better understand the news they’re consuming, reports Mallary Jean Tenore. She spent three hours creating a Dipity time line showing Romenesko coverage of layoffs and budget cuts in newsrooms since July 2007.
