KTLA reporter Lu Parker is talking for the first time about dating Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and being criticized for it in journalism circles. “I knew there would be a reaction, but I didn’t expect that kind,” she says. “It was horrible. I hadn’t done anything wrong.” She adds that “journalism is only about a fifth of my life.”
