LAT readers upset that paper didn’t wish them ‘Merry Christmas’

One told the Los Angeles Times: “As a Christian I ask that God forgive you for your avoidance of any recognition of Christ’s birthday.” Senior editor Roxane Arnold says that “though there isn’t a specific Christmas wish, we use news coverage to acknowledge the holiday.”

    I’ve been an LAT reader since 1966, I can’t recall they ever wished a “Merry Christmas” on the front page.
