Ex-football player’s dad sues Daily Cal editor for refusing to pull stories

In his small claims court suit, the father of a former University of California football player accuses Daily Californian editor-in-chief Rajesh Srinivasan of causing emotional distress by not deleting an article and two blog posts from 2006 and 2007. Harvey Purtz says the archived items “inflict harm” upon his son’s memory; Chris Purtz died last June.

    not surprising that he took his case to small claims court as no reputable lawyer would take on such a futile case.
