Wall Street Journal sues to open up Medicare database

The Journal seeks to overturn a decades-long court order barring public access to a confidential Medicare database. The AMA successfully sued the government in 1979 to keep secret how much money individual doctors receive from Medicare, and the ruling still stands, reports Russell Adams.

    First the farmers, now the doctors – maybe our government will someday disclose everyone (but the CIA & NSA payments to outsiders) who receives money from the taxpayer’s coffer.
