McClatchy’s Sacramento Bee is cutting 32 jobs, the Kansas City Star is axing 20, and the Charlotte Observer is laying off 20 employees. (McClatchy’s Lexington paper reported layoffs last week.) The newspaper chain’s fourth quarter results will be announced next Tuesday.
