“I think the political pressure to bring [criminal charges against the WikiLeaks founder] is enormous,” says Harvard law professor Jack Goldsmith. Guardian editor Alan Rusbridger says that “if, God forbid, ever this came to court, I would be completely side-by-side with [Julian Assange] in terms of defending him with respect to what he did.” Bill Keller says the New York Times would stand by him, too.
