Marines pull plug on Knight News Challenge grant winner Basetrack

Teru Kuwayama, whose Basetrack project uses social media to tell the stories of the day-to-day experiences of Marines in southern Afghanistan, says he’s mystified by the decision and his attempts to reach military officials have gone unanswered.
