James Heaney reported over the weekend that Carl Paladino‘s campaign stiffed a dozen or so consultants, vendors and staff members for about $130,000 in salaries, fees and expenses. The failed gubernatorial candidate responded by calling the Buffalo News “an elitist and progressive bastion preying on WNY” and warning the paper “to be careful” because “I believe we can prove malice.”
