New York Times announces digital subscriptions plan

Digital subscriptions are being rolled out to readers in Canada today, “which will enable us to fine-tune the customer experience before our global launch,” says publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr.. “On March 28, we will begin offering digital subscriptions in the United States and the rest of the world.” The pricing plans — they start at $15 a month — are after the jump:
NYTimes.com Plus Smartphone App:* $3.75 per week (billed every 4 weeks at $15.00)

NYTimes.com Plus Tablet App:* $5.00 per week (billed every 4 weeks at $20.00)

Unlimited access to the NYTimes app for iPad, plus Times Reader 2.0 and the NYTimes App for the Chrome Web Store

All Digital Access:* $8.75 per week (billed every 4 weeks at $35.00)
