New Time magazine cover mirrors previous Romney coverage

The latest issue of Time magazine, hitting newsstands today, echoes an earlier Mitt Romney cover to revisit ongoing questions about the candidate’s popularity.

“If this week’s cover feels a little familiar, there’s good reason for that,” writes managing editor Rick Stengel in a letter to readers. “In early December, we put Mitt Romney on the cover and asked, “Why Don’t They Like Me?“—a question that has been at the heart of the GOP primary process.

“This week, in the wake of Romney’s razor-thin win in Iowa, we’ve updated and revised the question, using the other half of the same portrait of Romney. The first cover got a lot of attention, not least from Governor Romney himself, who began annotating the cover for those who asked him to sign it.”

Wow. You are so far off on your story that is it not even funny. Check out the real beliefs before you attempt to become an authority on the matter.

Interesting, and interesting post with two covers, thanks. If Mitt wins the election, it will open a can of worms, both good and bad, about the origins and history of his inherited religious beliefs. Did you know that the Angel Mormoni tells her followers that Jesus visited the American Indians during his lifetime in North America, how he got there without planes or ships is something else again, and there are even
photos in the book of Mormon showing Jesus interacting with Native Americans in 10 BD or so. In North America. How Mormon beliefs will fare once he is elected is soemthing to be explored later on. Of course,
allo relgiions have strange early origins, so I am not picking on Mormonism here. I think Mitt will win this time. Then what will the TIME cover look like?
