Rush Limbaugh apologizes to Sandra Fluke for calling her a slut: ‘I chose the wrong words’

    Rush didn’t say he’d move out of the country if obamacare passes. he said he would go to costa rica for medical care.

    When Aldous Huxley envisioned Future Woman in the character Lenina Crowne in his novel Brave New World, he got it partly wrong. When I read that novel now, I can easily imagine that a real-life Lenina in our century would also have Facebook & Twitter accounts, carry a fashionable smart phone on her Malthusian belt, and even sport a tramp stamp like so may young women do these days.
    But then I see Ms. Fluke, who makes me think of a Lenina Crowne who has gone over to the Dark Side. She has joined the feminist cult and demands that the country’s working, taxpaying beta male chumps pay at the point of a gun to keep her Malthusian belt stuffed full of contraceptives.
    No wonder the conservative movement looks more and more like a rebellion of society’s responsible beta males who have had it with this “progressive” nonsense.

    I viewed Sandra Fluke’s testimony in its entirety at C-Span’s website   http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/304550-1   and at no point in the one-hour plus did she say anything like what Limbaugh CLAIMED she said.

    Wow. what a  heart-felt…well, not apology, certainly. Is it too much to ask that a media-focused site might try to be more than a stenographic record. A little context would help. Even a headline which conveyed what actually happened would be nice.

    It is a mistake to lead with his headline. The proper coverage is, Rush Limbaugh Issues Clarification on Statements about Sandra Fluke. He does not actually recant anything, nor apologize in words that could be interpreted as an apology.
