USA Today’s new design debuts today with a front page note from new publisher Larry Kramer, who joined the paper in May. All eyes are on the dot. “USA TODAY’s new logo — a large circle in colors corresponding to the sections — will be an infographic that changes with the news, containing a photo or image that represents key stories of the day,” the paper explained in its announcement. Below the new front page is one from August 27 and one from August 13, for comparison. All appear courtesy of the Newseum. The USA Today website will also be redesigned. || Related: Inside the new USA Today redesign (Charles Apple)
