Romney leads Obama in Swing State newspaper endorsements

Many newspapers across the country have endorsed a candidate for president. Below we list endorsements by the largest papers in the Swing States.

    It would be helpful to list the owners of these newspapers as well. I’d be interested to see how divided Gannett papers are, for example.

    The number that changed from Obama to Romney is higher: The Houston Chronicle, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Nashville Tennessean, Orlando Sentinel, Reno Gazette-Journal, New York Observer, Billings Gazette, The Columbian (Wash.) and the Daily Tribune (Mich.), FL Sun Sentinel, and Des Moines Register

    The Washington Post should be listed under Virginia (it’s NoVa’s source for news). And they endorsed Obama this year.
