Front page friends highlight politics of Hurricane Sandy

Others will debate the politicization of Hurricane Sandy and its effect on Tuesday’s election; we submit front pages that provide some interesting visual fodder for the debate. I just lost my lunch. Talk about taking advantage of people’s misery for a great photo-op just before election day. Show me some photos of Mr. Obama with his arms around the families of the Marines who died in the Benghazi attack, while he explains why he did nothing to aid the men who pleaded for help while they tried in vain to hold off the terrorists, yet still had time for a trip to Vegas the next day. NY/CT/NJ and all the other states hit by the storm had mayors and governors to handle last week’s storm disasters. We don’t need Mr. O going on national TV to tell people to have plenty of food and water and batteries in the house; we need to see him explaining where he was on 9/11/12, who was briefing him, what he was doing every minute between the first plea for help and the moment our men died. And oh, now “U.S. officials” (unnamed, of course) deny all this? OK, then get Mr. O on TV with transcripts and the drone video he was watching from the situation room. Stop playing hide-and-seek, Mr. Obama. Stand up like a man and say “I love being President but I am in WAY over my head and the advice coming to me from 47 different directions is too confusing to sort out.” (And no, I am not a Romney supporter, he is just as useless IMO.) We need a leader!!!!!!
