Prof blasts colleagues involved in “Little Red Book” hoax

Boston Globe
Clyde Barrow, chairman of the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth policy studies department, wants the school to suspend a student who made up a story about being grilled by federal antiterrorism agents after checking out Mao’s “Little Red Book.” He also wants punishments for two faculty members who repeated the unsubstantiated story to the New Bedford Standard-Times. The paper reported it on Dec. 17.
