Fox News shelled out $14,000 to get DeLay on talk show

Fox News rented a private jet to ferry U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay from a small airport near his Texas home to Fox studios in Washington for an Oct. 2 appearance on “Fox News Sunday.” Chuck Lindell writes: “The Sunday morning news shows routinely pay travel costs, from car fare to airfare, to get politicians into their studios, a review of congressional disclosure forms shows. But chartering expensive jets to amuse a few million political junkies is rare.”
