Pew: Mixed feelings about bank records monitoring stories

By a 50% to 34% margin, more people believe news organizations hurt American interests by revealing the Bush Administration’s secret bank records monitoring program than believe they helped, according to a Pew survey. At the same time, an even larger majority believe news reports about the monitoring “told citizens something they should know.”
