Time confirms yesterday’s report that starting in January it will cut the number of readers it guarantees to advertisers by 18.8%, to 3.25 million. The magazine also wants to persuade advertisers to switch to paying for ads based on the total number of magazine readers. ALSO: Time is working on a redesign to be introduced in January and will increase the newsstand price by $1, to $4.95.
