Courant wins Selden Ring Award for Investigative Reporting

Hartford Courant reporters Lisa Chedekel and Matthew Kauffman win the Selden Ring Award for their series exposing the US military’s recruitment and deployment of mentally ill soldiers into Iraq. The $35,000 annual prize is presented by the School of Journalism at the USC Annenberg School for Communication.
