Ad revenue at newspapers fell 8.6% in April-June period

An accelerating decline in print ads more than outweighed gains in online advertising, according to the Newspaper Association of America. Online advertising at newspapers continues to grow, rising 19.3% in the second quarter, although that was a slower rate than the 22.3% gain recorded in Q1. || Alan Mutter‘s analysis and NAA’s release.
