Hearst makes offers to staffers for an online-only P-I

Post-Intelligencer staffers picked to participate in an online-only version of the P-I have been notified of their selection. A reporter who rejected the offer says the online pay/benefits package increased his health insurance cost, cut his salary, required him to forgo his P-I severance pay, reduced his vacation accrual to zero and required him to give up overtime.
