Baltimore Sun business editor Wheatley dies in crash

Baltimore Sun | Romenesko Memos
Tim Wheatley was taking his 9-year-old daughter to school Monday morning when his car was struck by a UPS truck. The girl is in critical condition, according to Dennis Ryerson‘s memo to the Indy Star staff. (Wheatley worked at the Star before joining the Sun.) Sun editor Monty Cook said Wheatley, 48, was “a terrific journalist” and a “wonderful colleague.”
