Leann is a copy editor at The Dallas Morning News. She was a 2006-07 Naughton Fellow for Poynter Online. She graduated in May from Penn State University with a degree in journalism and minors in English and Spanish. She worked for the student-run newspaper The Daily Collegian as the assistant copy-desk chief her last semester and as a reporter for municipal government and student life for four semesters. She interned at Pittsburgh Magazine, the Tribune-Review and WJAC-TV. Leann participated in the Poynter Summer Fellowship for Recent Graduates and studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain. Her hobbies include playing the piano, singing and writing poetry. |
