Zucker: More people than ever turning to mobile for Olympics coverage

Mobile traffic to NBC’s 2010 Winter Olympics coverage has grown dramatically over the Torino games in 2006, according to Jeff Zucker, CEO of NBC Universal. Speaking last week on CNBC, Zucker reported that the lessons learned will be applied to the network’s plans for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

“Digital use has exploded here in Vancouver,” Zucker said. “The mobile use is clearly growing dramatically and that is going to continue to inform what we put out there, what we make available on mobile.”
