The results have confirmation bias written all over them, but according to a new study out of the U.K., iPad owners find Apple’s tablet to be the best platform for reading newspapers, magazines and books.
In a survey by copywriting firm Cooper Murphy Webb of 1,034 iPad owners in the U.K., 31 percent picked the device as their preferred reading method for newspapers and magazines. That topped both computers and print publications, which were favored by 26 percent and 24 percent of respondents, respectively.
Owners preferred the iPad over print for reading books, 41 percent to 36 percent.
