NJ Supreme Court overturns The Record libel ruling

The court ruled Tuesday that news organizations that present full, fair and accurate reports based on court documents can’t be held liable for those items — even if they turn out to be incorrect. The ruling overturns a 2008 appellate decision against The Record of Hackensack, which had reported allegations contained in a bankruptcy filing.
