Washington Post to start running front page ads

The Upshot
Michael Calderone notes that the Post “has been something of a holdout from the general embrace of front-page newspaper ads.” Most major dailies started running page one ads some time ago. (USA Today ran its first in 1999; WSJ in 2006; and NYT <a href="in 2009.)
