Why did it take so long for Chicago Tribune to cover its execs’ hijinks?

That’s what veteran Chicago media-watcher Robert Feder asks. “Except for a few artfully worded posts on [media reporter Phil] Rosenthal‘s blog, the sordid reign of Michaels & Co. has been all but ignored by the World’s Greatest Newspaper and its numerous print and broadcast confederates.”
