Anniston Star refuses to pay for records delivered in paper form

The paper’s request specified the documents be sent electronically to accounts set up to receive them. “We do NOT request printouts of the material,” the paper said. A few weeks later, the city manager delivered more than 800 pages of printed and redacted e-mails — along with a bill for $1,855.40, which the Star refuses to pay.
