UNC journalism professors defend switch from spelling to word usage test

Just another example of the worthlessness of j schools and journalism degrees. Most j students don’t get enough general knowledge in their j school programs to even know what they are trying to right about. Give me a liberal arts major with a few basic j courses, and I’ll hire them in a New York minute over a j school grad.
