Robbery halted by newspaper delivery

A robbery at an Omaha gas station stopped Friday morning when someone arrived to deliver newspapers.

“Two men were holding up the Kum & Go near 108th and Dodge when a newspaper delivery worker walked in and spooked them,” WOWT reports. The men fled and remain at large.

Last October, Frankie Roseman was delivering newspapers to a gas station in North Carolina when someone tried to rob it. He slipped out to call police, then tried to follow the suspect, who shot at his car. Police removed a bundle of newspapers from his car, hoping to retrieve the bullet.
