Strib, union bosses discuss company’s serious financial issues
The three days of Star Tribune meetings were so closed that the principals had to sign confidentiality agreements, reports David Brauer. The post-meeting memo says: “Publisher Chris Harte opened … by telling attendees that the Star Tribune’s current financial difficulties result from a precipitous drop in revenue while expenses have remained virtually flat.”
