Oregonian | Willamette Week
Fred Stickel, who has led the Newhouse family’s Oregonian for 35 years, tells employees: “I am 87 years old. I love this newspaper and the essential role it plays in Oregon and this community. But it is time for me to retire and make way for new leadership.” His son, Patrick, will serve as interim publisher.
