Women at the ‘Edge of Change’ Describe Journalism’s Past, Future

About 70 women gathered at Poynter to discuss women in journalism as part of an “Edge of Change” Colloquium that celebrates change in the 21st century. Inspired by a book edited by June Nicholson, Pamela Creedon, Wanda Lloyd and Pamela Johnson, we asked these women to describe a moment in their journalism careers that serves as a reminder of what women have overcome, what they can accomplish, or the work still to be done. Here’s what some of them said.
