Explanation: Data from clinical trials and ongoing vaccination campaigns show that authorized COVID-19 vaccines are highly effective at preventing illness and death. Common side effects of the vaccines, which include headache, fever, and pain at the injection site, are mild and relatively short-lived when compared to the disease itself. On the whole, the benefits of the COVID-19 vaccines outweigh their risks, and it is safer to get the vaccine than not.
