Explanation: PCR test swab sticks are dried and sterilized, and taken from the package immediately before use. The swab stick collects smear from the nose and mouth, it does not place anything in the nose. The nasal flu vaccine is indeed available, although it is used as a spray and has nothing to do with tests.
