A day later, on April 16, the private foundation belonging to Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his wife condemned Trump’s decision and pledged additional USD 150 million to fight the pandemic. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has long been one of the largest and open donors of the World Health Organization.
