Amitha Kalaichandran, MD, MHS, is a physician, epidemiologist, and journalist. She is a mentor editor with the Op-Ed Project, and a supporter of the Informed Opinions initiative. Dr. Kalaichandran is currently at work on a book entitled, “On Healing.”
