Euna Lee is a seasoned, award-winning journalist who is the head of acquired and commissioned programs at Voice of America. Since joining VOA in 2017, Lee has successfully launched multiple feature programs, including the 52 Documentary for all VOA platforms, aiming to increase the impact of VOA video around the world. Lee also built VOA Korean’s first TV team and led it to one of the Top 10 VOA channels on YouTube within a year. She wrote a memoir, “The World is Bigger Now,” about her experience while detained in North Korea for four and a half months. Lee holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
