Johann Calhoun

Johann Calhoun is a bureau chief for Chalkbeat where he oversees the editorial operation in Philadelphia. Before coming on board to Chalkbeat, Calhoun worked 15 years at The Philadelphia Tribune in several capacities as senior editor, city editor and news and special projects editor. He has stints at The Courier-Post in South Jersey as its Camden County bureau chief and Bucks County Courier Times as a copy editor. Calhoun has also taught at Temple University as an adjunct instructor teaching computer assisted reporting.
