Lyndsay Valadez — Indiana University, Bloomington

Lyndsay Valadez is a rising junior at Indiana University majoring in studio art and journalism, concentrating in news writing and editing, and minoring in Spanish. She has been a news reporter and page designer for the independent student-run newspaper, The Indiana Daily Student. Previously, she was an intern with MediaWise’s Teen Fact-Checking Network. She has a passion for seeking out the truth, a love for making art, and aspirations of being an art journalist. At any given moment, she’s probably listening to the latest podcast on Spotify with a pencil in her hand and an iced coffee no farther than arm’s length.
